Belle Silva oversees the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office Fiscal Unit. Her role is to prepare and maintain the budgets of numerous criminal justice programs. Under her leadership, the fiscal team manages the financial aspects of drug-related
asset forfeitures, Victim-Witness services, Family Justice Center programs, as well as investigative and prosecutorial fiscal matters. Prior to her current position, Ms. Silva served as the District Attorney’s Management Analyst, specializing
in government grants and various program budgets.
Ms. Silva joined the District Attorney’s office in 2016 after years of working on legislative and regulatory matters related to agriculture. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Political Science and Public Administration, with a concentration in Criminal Justice.
