ARRCS (County Jail)

Assisting Reentry for Co-Occurring Adults through Collective Support (ARRCS) is a program that connects incarcerated adults who have a mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorder (SUD) to support services. The program includes targeted interventions, treatment services, and transition planning back into the community.

ARRCS is a partnership with Behavioral Health Services (BHS), the San Joaquin County Probation Department, and the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.

Program objectives are to reduce recidivism and promote the individual’s wellness and recovery.
