Crisis Services

SAFE-T

SAFE-T is an intensive, short-term, mental health service that BHS provides through a contracted community-based organization. Services are often referred at the point of a crisis evaluation with a goal of diverting the individual from hospitalization, and when individuals are discharged to support a stable transition. SAFE-T also provides crisis intervention and referrals and linkages to outpatient services.

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) is a Medi-Cal mental health service for youth up to 21 years of age that provides one-on-one behavioral interventions for children and young adults who are experiencing a stressful transition or life crisis. TBS is a network of community–based programs throughout California that target specific behaviors in order to improve the stability of children and young adults. BHS partners with a community-based organization to provide these services.
