Stockton- In partnership with California Attorney General Rob Bonta and five other District Attorneys throughout California, today a settlement was announced with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc., and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals (“Kaiser”) resolving allegations that the healthcare provider unlawfully disposed of hazardous waste, medical waste, and protected health information at Kaiser facilities statewide.

Larry Galicinao, 38, of Stockton, was sentenced to 28 years to life in State Prison by The Hon. Judge Richard Mallett. Galiciano was convicted of an attack where he doused two victims with gasoline and lit them on fire, causing horrific injuries.

Today, August 4, 2023, the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office Charged Sunthawon Savon, 20, on eight counts in the shooting of a Stockton Police Sergeant, and the carjacking of Sam Ol-Touch.

On August 2, 2023, a settlement to resolve a civil law enforcement action against Albertsons Companies, Inc., was entered by the Superior Court in San Joaquin County. The settlement was entered in conjunction with the District Attorney Offices of San Joaquin County, San Bernardino County, and Yolo County.
