As part of the 2027 Federal budget process, San Joaquin County recently submitted nearly $19 million in funding requests to support ten local projects to enhance programs, services, and infrastructure throughout the County. San Joaquin County submitted the following requests:

The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors reviewed the midyear budget report for the current fiscal year. At the end of the fiscal year, the County projects General Fund savings of $23.7 million as compared to the budget for the year. By June 2026, the County expects to bring in $10.1 million more in local tax revenue than budgeted.

San Joaquin County has been awarded $38,230,841 in Bond Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP) Round 2: Unmet Needs funding from the State of California, enabling major new expansion of Phase 2 of the County’s SJ BeWell Campus.
