As May marks Mental Health Awareness Month, San Joaquin County residents are encouraged to recognize the importance of emotional well-being and the value of seeking support when needed. While mental health challenges affect people year-round, this month serves as a reminder that no one has to face stress, anxiety, depression, or substance use struggles alone.

On May 12, 2026, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors proclaimed the week of May 17th – May 23rd as Public Works Week in San Joaquin County. Monday, May 18, 2026, is the last day to register to vote, or update your voter registration information for the June 2, 2026, Primary Election. Residents are encouraged to register at the website https://registertovote.ca.gov or pick-up a voter registration card at local post offices or the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters Office (ROV) located at 44 North San Joaquin Street, Third Floor, Suite 350, Stockton, CA 95202.
