The Declaration of Candidacy Period for the June 2, 2026 Statewide Direct Primary Election opens on Monday, February 9, 2026.

The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters office officially certified the November 4, 2025, Special Election results. The final turnout for this election totaled 188,443 ballots cast, representing 46.66 percent of the 403,835 registered voters in San Joaquin County.

Election Day in San Joaquin County went smoothly thanks to months of preparation, strong community participation, and the dedication of our election team and volunteers.

The San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters (ROV) announced their comprehensive plan for reporting the Statewide Special Election results on November 4, 2025.

Stockton, CA – San Joaquin County residents and members of the media are invited to observe the State mandated full Logic & Accuracy Test (L&A) of the voting system taking place on Monday, September 29, at 8:00 a.m. until completion in the San Joaquin County Registrar of Voters (ROV) Office located at 44 N. San Joaquin St., Suite 350, Stockton, CA. The L&A Test will specifically examine all precinct ballots to be cast for the November 4, 2025, Special Election on Redistricting.
