Stockton, CA – San Joaquin District Four Supervisor Steve Ding and San Joaquin County Sheriff Patrick Withrow will accept a $40,000 grant from AT&T to address the ongoing issue of copper wire theft in San Joaquin County.

The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors voted on Tuesday, October 10, to allow the Office of Emergency Services (OES) to partner with a Northern California non-profit, Hold Your Horses (HYH), to provide critical support during natural disasters and emergencies in San Joaquin County.

Today, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors by a vote of 4-1 opposed the implementation of the Voter’s Choice Act (VCA), which sought to eliminate hundreds of local polling locations throughout San Joaquin County.
