    Canepa Chosen as Board Chair for 2025

    Stockton, CA – The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors has chosen Supervisor Paul J. Canepa as Chair as part of its annual reorganizational meeting held this morning. Canepa represents a large portion of central Stockton in his role as the second district Supervisor. He is currently in his first term on the Board, having been elected in 2022. Supervisor Sonny Dhaliwal, the third district representative, was chosen as Vice-Chair as well; Dhaliwal was sworn in as Supervisor in this morning’s meeting.

The Board will also conduct the annual reorganizational meeting to conduct administrative tasks as the year and term begins.
