San Joaquin County is pleased to announce the official launch of the Relief Across Downtown (RAD) Card which is now available throughout the County. The County program aimsto put more spending dollars in consumer wallets for purchases at eligible San Joaquin County restaurants, personal care services, and specialty retailers. In March, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to authorize an allocation of $1,000,000 to be used for the RAD Card Program. The RAD Card Program is now live in San Joaquin County and new businesses are continually signing up to participate in the program.

With this tech advancement, we can equip our first responders and public safety personnel with new capabilities and reliable access to critical information while in the field. That allows us to better serve those who live, work and visit San Joaquin County.

Yesterday, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors announced that Robert Rickman from District 5 was officially sworn in during the first Board of Supervisors meeting of 2021. Supervisor Tom Patti from District 3 and Supervisor Miguel Villapudua from District 1 were also sworn in to serve on the Board for an additional four years. In addition, Supervisor Tom Patti was elected Chair of the Board and Supervisor Chuck Winn was elected as Vice-Chair.
