Stockton- San Joaquin County District Attorney Ron Freitas announces a significant victory against the abhorrent crime of human trafficking with the successful sentencing of Jerry Reynolds, 43, of Stockton. The decision, rendered by The Honorable John Soldati handed Reynolds a 14-year state prison term and a lifelong requirement to register as a sex offender.
Over several months, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office CASA Unit conducted a meticulous and comprehensive investigation that ultimately led to the identification of several victims in the case against Reynolds. The collaborative effort between the Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office played a pivotal role in the success of this investigation, showcasing the importance of coordinated endeavors in combating crimes as heinous as human trafficking.
