Today, the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office co-hosted a Blood Drive benefiting the American Red Cross with Stockton Police Department.
The “Battle of the Badges” Blood Drive took place in the District Attorney’s Office Training Room and local law enforcement personnel were invited to donate blood to directly benefit American Red Cross.
“I am proud to see my team work alongside Stockton Police Department for such a noble cause,” said District Attorney Ron Freitas. “Thank you to our local American Red Cross workers for facilitating an important event and to everyone who donated during today’s drive.”
The Stockton Police Officers Association participated in the “Battle of the Badges” Blood Drive in honor of LeeAnn Dias. The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office connected with the American Red Cross to challenge local law enforcement and first responder agencies to assist with the nationwide blood shortage.
