Public Works is excited to announce an upcoming project to replace the water meters in your district and install an Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. The AMI system will automate the meter reading system, which will reduce labor costs to read meters and allows customers to view usage online. The project is expected to be completed within 13 months, with new meters tentatively scheduled to be installed in December/January. The Public Works Department will be reaching out to water customers with additional information before work begins. If you have any questions about this project, please contact Jayna Rutz at (209) 468-3697.
