Haven Acres Mobile Home Park evacuation order has been issued due to increased water levels and likelihood of loss of power from water encroachment on the power system, furthering potential safety concerns for residents. Similarly, the water levels surrounding Airport Court have continued to rise. As the gauge in the San Joaquin River has now reached the danger stage, the water levels have caused lack of accessibility to roadways, impeding residents from safely evacuating on their own and causing safety hazards for first responders and emergency personnel. 

The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services has established an evacuation center at the Manteca Senior Center at 295 Cherry Ln., Manteca. Residents may call 211 for immediate, non-emergent assistance as needed.  

Please note, all affected residents have been contacted directly by Sheriff’s Office and Lathrop-Manteca Fire Department personnel. Access roads in the area will be blocked off and levees need to remain clear to ensure emergency vehicles have access. The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services and partnering agencies are closely monitoring the river water levels to determine the longevity of the order.

Residents are asked to avoid flooded roads, remain clear of fast-moving creeks and rivers, and follow all emergency signage. When driving in the rain, always turn on your headlights.
