This class is offered at no cost to participants.  The class is expected to be 4-6 hours with the written San Joaquin County EMS Agency Policies exam and ALS skills testing to follow.  The exam is closed book and you must have a score of 80% or higher to pass and be issued a course completion certificate (CE certificate).  Personnel should register for the class at least (30) days prior to the date of their selected class.  These classes are also open to EMTs; however, class sizes are limited so paramedics will be given priority.  Up to six (6) hours of instructor-based EMS CE will be offered.  CA EMS CE provided by San Joaquin County EMS Agency CEP# 39-0001.

All authorized prehospital care providers in San Joaquin County are encouraged to view this presentation prior to receiving additional training on this subject.  To view the Dr. Daniel Spaite video click here.
