February 10, 2026 - Board of Supervisors Approves New Emergency Ambulance Services Agreement
Reinforcing Commitment to Public Safety and Reliable Service
The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors today approved an agreement with the CENCAL Fire and EMS Authority to provide exclusive emergency ambulance services in Ambulance Zones X and Y and dispatch services for all emergency ambulance providers, reinforcing the County's commitment to public safety, accountability, and high-quality emergency medical care.

February 4, 2026 - Seeking SJCEMSA EMS Award of Excellence 2025 Nominations
SJCEMSA is seeking nominations for the SJCEMSA EMS Award of Excellence 2026. Recipients of this award are recognized for their efforts and dedication to improving the EMS system in San Joaquin County, being a mentor and supporter of other EMS system participants, providing valuable education and feedback to the EMS system, and a commitment to helping others in our community. February 2, 2026 - Paramedic Preceptor Applications and Paramedic Accreditation Officer Applications are Open
Paramedic Preceptor applications and Paramedic Accreditation Officer applications are now open and will be accepted through February 17, 2026. Applications are available on the SJCEMSA Online Application Portal. The application shall be submitted with a letter of recommendation from your ALS employer verifying that you are in good standing with that employer and the employer intends to use you as a Paramedic Preceptor or Paramedic Accreditation Officer.
