Raymus Village Well #1 is currently under Compliance Orders from the State Water Recourses Control Board for 1,2,3 TCP as of 2018 and Nitrates as of 02/22/2023. Water is being provided by Well #2 that meets standards with Nitrate levels below the MCL of 10 mg/L. Well #1 is to remain offline and has a compliance date of 02/28/2025. San Joaquin County is presently working with neighboring water systems for an additional source of potable water to supplement Well #2. The following are the services provided and the rates charged for the 2024-2025 fiscal year (per Single Family Equivalent):

  • Water - $406.00 annual flat rate for unmetered properties. Metered properties pay a metered rate of $2.50 per 1,000 gallons.
  • Swimming Pool Refill - Water rate for regular customers: $4.37 per 1,000 gallons; and out-of-area water rate: $6.56 per 1,000 gallons
  • Sewer - $998.00 annual flat rate
  • Street Lighting - $54.00 annual rate
  • Storm Drainage - $10.00 annual rate

    RAYMUS VILLAGE TRICHLOROPROPANE MITIGATION PROJECT:
    The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works is pleased to announce that the construction of the Raymus Village Trichloropropane Mitigation Project has begun. This project will install a water treatment facility for Well No. 1, to address the presence of 1,2,3 - Trichloropropane (TCP) contamination. The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2024.   • Ongoing

    Well #1 continues to exceed the MCL established by the State for TCP. Notices have been sent to all property owners advising of the exceedance. The County is currently in the design phase of a water filtration system which will bring the well into compliance by June 2021.
  • October 22, 2019

    Well inspection work will be taking place this week at Well #2. You may notice service vehicles and equipment in the area.
