FM labor costs are included in the General Fund and provided without any direct costs to county departments that are funded by the General Fund. Materials and vendor-provided services are included at no additional cost for Preventive Maintenance, Routine Maintenance and Repairs, and Emergency Repairs.
Costs for materials and vendor-provided services are billed back to requesting departments for Discretionary Work, as defined above, since those costs are not included in the Facilities Management budget.
FM labor, material costs, and vendor-provided services for Non-General Fund funded departments are billed back to the requesting departments for all work, since these costs are not included in the FM budget. Any costs not recovered directly through SSTs are recovered through the A87 Cost Allocation Plan.
