Inspections

The cut off time for a next business day inspection is 3 PM.

Inspection Requests:

Inspection requests received before 3:00 p.m. will be scheduled for the next business day. Requests received after 3:00 p.m., will be scheduled on the second business day following the request. When scheduling an inspection, please have the following information available:

• Permit number
• Name
• Job-site address
• Nearest cross street
• Telephone number
• Type of inspection

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy:

Through Online Permitting System- A request to reschedule in the online permitting system must be made before 12:00 AM 1 day(s) prior to the inspection date/time. Cancellations must be made in the online permitting system before 12:00 AM 1 day(s) prior to the inspection date/time.

By Phone- If you are scheduling through the 24/7 inspection phone line and need to cancel or reschedule, please call the Building Division at (209) 468-3165 before 9:00 a.m. PST on the day of the scheduled inspection.
