STOCKTON, CA – At its meeting today, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors approved the use of $50,000 in District One funds to support the renovation of the Aspen Cottage at the Children’s Home of Stockton (CHS). Once renovated the Aspen Cottage will provide six additional beds for transitional age youth (TAY) ages 18-24, many of whom have been part of the foster care system and are at risk of homelessness.
