The CalVet Tuition Fee Waiver Program is a California State Benefit that is run through CalVet. Our office processes these request on behalf of CalVet.
The fee waiver is for children / dependents of veterans and, in one circumstance, spouses. Please refer to the information below for qualification factors.
Please note : We are still primarily processing fee waivers by email. Please send all required documents for the fee waiver to cvso@sjchcs.org . For Verification of Non-Filing Letters, please contact the California Franchise Tax Board or IRS either online or on the phone numbers listed on the second page of the DVS-40. all approved fee waiver letters will be emailed.
