How Do I Get a Permit?

Many types of businesses require a permit from the Environmental Health Department (EHD) prior to beginning operation. For example, selling food from a mobile food unit or operating a gasoline station.

Other EHD permits are required prior to construction of water wells, septic systems, restaurants and markets to ensure that the business is operating within federal, state and local regulations and laws.

To determine what forms your business needs to provide, find the EHD program below which pertains to your business and print out the appropriate permit application(s) or form(s). Fill out the application or form completely and then bring it to the EHD office with the appropriate fees.
